One Square

The miniature One Square was inspired by an antique miniature quilt that was shown during a lecture I attended. I loved the cottons in the little quilt, so I tried to reproduce the antique as best I could, using reproduction-type cottons. With a photograph and my measurements as my guide, my One Square shares many similarities with the original antique miniature quilt.

This mini was machine-pieced and hand-quilted with silk batting.
