February-March 2007
The first piece for the 2007 Project Spectrum is completed and ready to frame. The project is a gift for my third son.
Colors selected for this Project Spectrum: blue, grey, and white.

April-May 2007
The colors for April - May 2007 are: green, pink, and yellow. I am creating a small quilt using these colors.
June - July 2007
The colors are: red, black, metallics and they are being used in the small quilt I have been working on, so I will be combining all of the colors together.

Since I chose to make a small quilt, my project has combined the months of April through July. I created a small quilt made from vintage embroidered squares that I purchased at an auction. The Project Spectrum challenge was a perfect way to work with these small squares.
This small quilt is titled Little Bouquets and it was hand quilted. The sash and border for this quilt is in a soft mint green floral cotton fabric. The backing for this quilt is yellow. Throughout the quilt, the use of pink, red, green, yellow, and black are found in the embroidered squares.
Pink yo yo button flowers were made. Some beading was added and several small metallic charms were the finishing touch for this quilt that measures 30″ x 38″.
August - September 2007
I love the color combination of orange, purple, and brown. Some of my favorite pansies are orange and purple.
The final 2007 Project Spectrum challenge is another cross stitched Zodiac sign. This one is for my second son born December 7.

Now, on to the 2008 Project Spectrum !
